over cappuccino

waiting for you
alone like it matters
waiting for my cappuccino
to cool a little

many times i have waited
like this for you
how much longer
writing verses on little folded napkins
glancing at people walking past
knowing that time also walks out on people like me

I can so relate. I've been doing a lot of waiting myself these days. Beautiful poem.

How very striking.

I've been away from reading blogs, personal life and all that. My apologies.

cj, so true. i feel like i just have to do things faster if i am to experience them all.

mussolini, waiting... with you waiting also comes after the words, i hate. i know what you mean tho. it's just that most times i come too late. so waiting is actually irrelevant.

sk8rn, patience has never been my virtue.

m! welcome back. missed your poems dear.
